Lucky charm of Argentina Lionel Messi fell 1–0 to Brazil in the Maracanã Stadium to win the Copa America title.
After winning its first international trophy, Lionel Messi and his teammates secured a spectacular victory as Argentina won the Copa America soccer championship against Brazil.
After the match was over, some of his happy teammates threw the tearful, joyful goat into the air.
The leader has five goals and has participated in nine of the team’s eleven strategic goals in the tournament to date.
He is 34 and has also shown his determination in winning the tournament and finally raising a senior international trophy with Argentina.
“We are really excited, happy, personally, I want to play one more. I want the most to be a title with the national team,” he says after the semi-final win over Colombia.
In the 22nd minute, Rodrigo de Paul made a long pass to Angel of Maria, Argentina’s winning goal at Maracana Stadium in Janeiro arrived.
The 33-year-old veteran hit man on a poor defence against left-handing Renan Lodi, who took control and threw him behind goalkeeper Ederson.
It was just Brazil’s third goal at the tournament. Neymar tried hard with dribbles and passes, but Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez was hardly afraid of Selecao.
After winning the title, Messi and Neymar from Brazil took a long turn after the Copa America Final, which was a great respect and fans were overwhelmed by the viral appearance.
