Coronavirus Update: In a single day, 44 more people die from COVID-19

Pakistan reported 44 coronavirus deaths per day on Friday, for a total of 22,152 deaths in the country.

Data from the National Center for Command and Operations (NCOC) showed 1,052 people had tested positive for the coronavirus as of Thursday.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan since the pandemic began rose to 925,907, while the number of active cases in the country rose to 32,921.
