Covid-19 Ratio Cross 4% in Pakistan

Pakistan continues to witness an increase in COVID-19 cases, with 1,980 new infections recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s viral tally to 973,284.

According to the most recent National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) data, 27 additional individuals died from the terrible sickness in a single day, bringing the national death toll to 22,582.

In the past 24 hours, 48,382 tests were performed, with 1,980 individuals receiving good findings.

According to the report, the infection rate climbed slightly from 3.79 percent yesterday to 4.09 percent today.

There are currently 37,499 active cases in the country, with 908 more persons recovering from the sickness overnight, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 913,203.

As of July 11, 15,320,363 persons have gotten partial doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 3,746,989 having been fully immunized against the pandemic. In all, 19,067,352 vaccination doses were given.

Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Planning and Development and Head of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), warned on Friday that the country is seeing unmistakable indicators of the fourth COVID-19 wave.

Asad Umar posted the news on Twitter, saying that two weeks ago, he revealed that their artificial intelligence models predicted the advent of the fourth wave.
