New Island, Near Balochistan’s Kund Malir Beach

On Thursday, a new island appeared in the Arabian Sea near the Balochistan beach of Kund Malir, which was previously undiscovered.

It was reported by people who are familiar with the area, which includes sections of Hingol National Park near the Makran Coastal Highway, that the island appeared out of nowhere and covered a large area before disappearing.

In the west off the coast of Sonmiani near Kund Malir, according to Muhammad Moazzam Khan, a WWF Pakistani Technical Advisor (Marine Fisheries), a new island has appeared off the coast of Sonmiani.

He explained that the islands appear as a result of excessive geological activity in the area, and that such small islands eventually vanish as a result of the geological activity. He stated that it is a common occurrence in the surrounding area.

It’s worth noting that similar islands appeared in the same location in both 2000 and 2010, which is significant.

The country of Pakistan was rocked by a massive earthquake of magnitude 7.7 in 2013, which created an island off the coast of Gwadar. The island, on the other hand, reappeared after a period of time had passed.
