Pakistan ranks ‘global cheapest nation to live’

Pakistan is the ‘global cheapest nation to live,’ with the 18.58 index on living prices, followed by Afghanistan 24.51, India 25.14 and Syria 25.31, according to the GoBankingRates Company Cost of Living Index.

Several organisations have analysed statistics to find out which countries are the most cheap. GoBankingRates is one such company, and uses four factors to determine which countries are the cheapest.

Among the metrics used are the rental index, the local power of purchase index, the consumer price index and the food indices and the data are compared to cost of living in New York, one of the most expensive cities worldwide.

The score shows that Pakistan has constant daily commodity expenses, making life the cheapest and lowest life in the world in Pakistan.
