Sindh schools will resume on August 23: Sardar Shah

The Government of Sindh stated on Tuesday that it decided on Monday, 23 August, to open again schools throughout the province.

After chairing the meeting of the Steering Committee of the Department of Education, Sindh, the statement was made by Provincial education minister Sardar Shah.

Shah added that just 50% of pupils in school will reopen, while 100% student strength will be granted to educational institutions who have a complete immunization rate.

The Minister claimed school closure and reopening were not the solution and indicated that another technique will be used that would not affect the education of the children.

“A student’s parent must grant the school administration his NADRA immunization diploma,” he said.
