The PCB will help Uzbekistan grow cricket

As part of a larger effort to improve relations between the two countries through cricket diplomacy, the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the promotion of the game through the development of a working relationship to improve the capacity, professionalism, and performance of the game in Uzbekistan.

In line with the agreement, the PCB will design, organize, and execute player development programs, including two high-performance camps for young players in Lahore, as well as other activities. Players in Uzbekistan will benefit from these programs since they will improve their technical, tactical, mental, and game abilities.

It will also send its workers to Uzbekistan for game development programs, which will include preliminary curator’s courses and basic staff classes; an upgrade course in PCB level 1; advanced level 2 Coaching courses; and training courses and analysts at different levels.

Besides that, the PCB assists Uzbekistan’s players in developing their personal lives and advising them on doping, anti-corruption, and Code of Conduct responsibilities. The Pakistan Cricket Board will also consider the possibility of inviting an Uzbekistan team to compete in local tournaments in the country.
