Umrah Restrictions Will Be Removed Soon

According to Noor ul Haq Qadri, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, limitations on Pakistani Umrah pilgrims will be lifted within two to three weeks, as announced on Sunday.

According to the government, COVID-related restrictions are being reduced around the world, and restrictions for Umrah pilgrims will be relaxed soon. Earlier, he spoke at the official launching of a new facility for Hajj pilgrims at Haji Camp phase 7 in Peshawar, Pakistan. The Minister disputed that any greater sums in terms of Hajj and Umrah are being received from pilgrims; rather, additional expenses are being incurred as a result of higher airline fares, according to the Minister.

Travelers who have gotten two doses of the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccinations are permitted to visit Saudi Arabia on the condition that they also acquire an additional dose of one of the four approved vaccines before entering the country.

They will be able to congregate under one roof, according to him, thanks to the new pilgrims’ facilities. According to him, “in addition to providing seminars and classes for Hajj pilgrims, the facility will also provide document verification and the COVID vaccine, all under one roof.”
