Vivo Will Launch X70 Smartphone in September During IPL
Chinese smartphone maker Vivo could launch the X70 smartphone in September and is working on an internal ISP chip that will be built into the smartphone, according to a MyFixGuide report. The report is based on a press conference given by Hu Baishan, President of Vivo China.
It is reported that the Vivo V1 ISP will be included in the X70 smartphone. He also revealed that a Vivo tablet is in the works and will be released in the first half of 2022. The company also plans to implement a 1+3+N strategy, which involves a smartphone in a network center that controls three peripheral devices such as smartwatches, tablets, headphones, etc., which is also connected to other smart devices. In this strategy, which Huawei also uses, “1” denotes a basic phone that meets the basic needs of customers without any useless peripherals for them, and thus is the most important network connection.
According to the report, the company’s focus may be on keeping its prospects closed, i.e. in its ecosystem, so that potential customers have a higher overall experience with its goods. The technology can be very similar to Apple’s, with the suppliers spread across the product.
Vivo may be dealing with tablets, but it certainly doesn’t have any plans to launch a TV like its competitors. The president of Vivo China added that smartphones and televisions “have a certain degree of correlation that is very weak,” which is why the company is still far from entering the TV market.
